The Daily Dose

I was given this award by my cousin Karen @ Karen´s Ramblings and Maria @ Freetofly and if I remember correctly maybe Sharon too.

The award was originated by Xandra from Heart of Service, and here are her words for this award:

"...it's for blogs that I must read every day without fail . . . They make you laugh, cry, think and feel connected every time you read a post. They give you a thrill as you see them loading into your browser and you get an equally satisfying thrill when you see that they have commented on your blog."

I want to offer this to everyone on my blog roll... I find you all to fulfill the requirements for this award. Thanks for being great friends and for praying for me during this difficult time.

I am blessed!

All my awards!!!

This is like way overdue..... but as the saying goes....better late than never....

1. This award was given to me On Sept 14th (by my wonderful, patient cousin!!) hence the better late than never phrase!

The author of this award said the following:
.."the thing that I love most about blogging is that I learn so much about a person just by reading their blog. I have met MANY wonderful people with wonderful stories to tell, and I am grateful every day for each person that I have the pleasure of crossing paths in life with. I wanted to create something special for the top ten people who have inspired me through their blogging; the stories they tell, and the lives that they lead with grace and dignity. I visit their blogs for inspiration and encouragement."

Nice Matters Award

"This award is for those bloggers who are nice people; good blog friends and those who inspire good feelings and inspiration. Also for those who are a positive influence on our blogging world. Once you've been awarded please pass it on to others who you feel are deserving of this award."

I am blessed when I get a recognition like this, who wouldn´t be? Then I get panicky and think who should I pass this onto...quickly!

I don´t know many people in blog land so giving the award to the same people seems kinda of repetitive and the award then somehow looses it´s value. So I thought I would nominate a person I have just visited once and where I .. really felt welcome. Someone who is a nice person. The kind of person I would like to get to know better.

She is demara http://demarablog.com/.

Thanks Cos Karen for always thinking about me...I am honoured...

Thinking Blogger Award

Thinking Blogger Award -

You may have been searching around in blogland, and come across the "Thinking Blogger Award" on your travels. Do check out the Thinking Blogger Awards. I was tagged for this award back in April and was sadly not able to respond until now due to computer problems etc...

Basically you choose 5 blogs that you recommend are worth visiting. Below are the guidelines set out for the "Thinking Blogger Award""Should you choose to participate, please make sure you pass this list of rules to the blogs you are tagging. I thought it would be appropriate to include them with the meme.

The participation rules are simple:

1. If, and only if, you get tagged, write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think,

2. Link to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of the meme,

3. Optional: Proudly display the 'Thinking Blogger Award' with a link to the post that you wrote (here is an alternative silver version if gold doesn't fit your blog)."

The blogs I would recommend are:

Eric´s Blog
I have known Eric since I was 14yrs old. He was the Pastor of the church I attended in Guernsey. Eric has been a key person in my life and I owe alot of my spiritual growth and knowledge to him and his integrity. A very gifted communicator and writer, who has a very down to earth approach to life and Christian living. He and his wife are true saints for me and I am proud to count them as my friends.
Karen
What can I say about this amazing woman? We are not only related by blood, but also by the blood of Jesus. I am proud to have a cousin who is so gifted in communicating the love and truth of God. She is a very creative and beautiful woman who possesses great depths of wisdom plus tremendous knowledge to back it up! She has a connection to the Throne and a power in prayer that is rare.
Bunnygirl
I have known Caroline also many years. Since I left Guernsey though we have had little or no contact until recently when we both rediscovered each other in blog land! I love Caroline´s honesty. She is not afraid to face up to her fears or questions that stir her soul and let you in on where she is at. I find her frankness and no messing transparency very inspirational. She is an excellent poet and uses words to paint incredible pictures.
And two new friends I have since met right here in Blog land!
Debra
This lady sure has some great things to say....I have been uplifted an encouraged on more than one occasion and appreciate both her humour and her experiences.
Spookie or Brigitte!
I love Brigitte´s on-line Diary. I find it easy to walk with her through her posts and find them to be very encouraging, challenging and real.

No, I´m not dead!!!

You guessed it..... my computer died................ not me!!! WE just picked it up from Computer hospital where they removed all the viruses and now we are back to system basics!

Also my cat had kittens.... Easter Friday.... a nice reminder of life after Jesus´s death! It definitely was a real excitement to see them being born...all 5 of them. I wanted to write a really cool blog about the whole thing with pics (the above pic I got from google just to add the feeling!!)...but that will have to wait now for a few days until we get everything put back on the computer!

Also.... on 19th Dh and I will be leaving, by car, to be a part of a yearly retreat we help to organize in Castellón... They kids have been "shuffled" out between families....We get back on Sunday pm.

Also... I did discover, by using my husbands work computer, that I have been nominated for the Blog Thinker Award.... A great honour indeed! I shall get on that right away upon my return and write the appropriate post! Thanks to those of you who voted for me.... oh man Im blushing.
Well hopefully I will see you all soon......
"all things come to them that .......WAIT!!!!!!!!!!" ha ha ha
